I’ve had the idea for a year and a half to do videos with puppets. I even made sock puppets. Then my mom bought me real-life high-quality ones (no offense, Socks) and they’ve been patiently awaiting their day in the limelight.
This is the first of my “I’M IN MY 30’S PLAYING WITH PUPPETS” series, which is something I’ve aptly avoided doing for over a year due to fear of what other people would think.
In this video, Pinky the Flamingo (named by my boyfriend’s 5 and 7 year old kiddos) helps guide me through the fear by calling me on my shit, challenging me to express my unique quirky voice, and urging me to focus on the people I’ll HELP rather than the haters.
